Great news! Josh came home today with NO BANDAGES on his arms! God is faithful...and He is hearing the prayers of many on behalf of the Van Swols. The doctor was very pleased with Josh's progress and healing.
Elizabeth continues with her physical therapy and is getting more mobility every day. Her mobility has been encouraged by the kind loan of a Wii. She loves playing tennis and it is terrific for her therapy! Please pray for continued encouragement and stamina for Elizabeth as walking and moving are not pain free.
Elizabeth and Josh will both go back to the Burn Center next Tuesday. Please pray that they will have all bandages removed at that time.
WOO-HOO!!!!! I am doing the "WE SERVE AN AWESOME GOD HAPPY DANCE"!!!! This is such great news- and we are soooo happy for you all. We will continue to pray and wait with anticipation for what blessings He will graciously continue to provide!! Love you all!
ReplyDeleteWhat a huge praise! We continue to lift you guys up before our Father of comfort.
ReplyDeleteIf the opportunity affords itself, then I recommend listening to Laura Story's song entitled "Make Something Beautiful." The lyrics have been on my heart as I think of you - Cami Westall
"When I’m at the point of breaking at the place where I resign,
And I’m at the stage of shaking my head as I look back on my life,
When I’m halfway through the grieving, but not quite through the ache,
When I cannot see the ending
Or which road I’m supposed to take,
All I know to do is lift my hands to You.
Chorus:
Take all of my life, all of my life,
And make something beautiful.
I open my hand, trusting Your plan.
Make something beautiful so all will see"
Praise God!! How thankful we are to hear this good news! We will continue praying...
